Over the course of the last several decades pollinator health has been in constant fluctuation. Pollinators are one the most important features of our food system. Without them, our world would be turned upside down. The last decade has been increasingly difficult on pollinators with outside forces of disease, parasites, and made-made issues, all weakening pollinator populations.
In 2015 the White House, environmental, and green industry groups called for the planting of a million pollinator friendly gardens to help stabilize pollinator populations. By taking a small area in your lawn or garden to dedicate to pollinators, you can do your part to help ensure the stability of these great food makers.
Here at Clayton's we have a new Make Your Own Six Pack Pollinator / Native program. By planting 6 selections you will help feed the pollinators that help make our food. We also have other pollinator plants, and natives that are not listed on the side as well. Many, many more to be exact! Just come in and ask our friendly staff for help and we can direct you in helping our buzzing friends.
